Krystal Marie Ball

Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24 in 1981) is an American political commentator. She was previously a candidate for the US Senate, as well as a TV presenter on MSNBC. She was frequently a contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill's Rising, along with Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear in May 2021 that they'd leave the show to start their own project, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has made guest appearances on networks such as CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball attributes her new interest in politics partly due to her experience being a mother in the 2008 primary elections. Additionally, she also was a witness to the US elections for president during her time working in Jordan. She witnessed how it affected the people in that country and gained an appreciation for US politics' global impact. She was a Senior fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC show The Cycle from June 2012 to July 2015.
